Yn Llanfihangel gallwn edrych allan tuag at Fannau Brycheiniog sydd a rhai o'r 'awyr dywyll' orau yn y DU. Daeth y bannau fel y warchodfa awyr dywyll ryngwladol gyntaf yng Nghymru lle 'ar noson glir gallwch weld bron unrhywbeth' gan gynnwys y Ffordd Laethog, cytserau mawr, nebulae llachar a mwy.

It uses mathematics, physics and chemistry in order to explain their origin and evolution. Objects of interest include planets, moons, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and comets. We are very fortunate to live local to the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve. The Brecon Beacon Park has some of the highest quality dark skies in the whole of the UK, making it the perfect destination for stargazers. On a clear night in the Brecon Beacons, you can see the Milky Way, major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers. It’s enough to make anyone starry eyed. The first International Dark-Sky reserve in Wales is situated in the Brecon Beacons - “on a clear night you can see just about everything from anywhere" Ordnance Survey 2015.
